Maroun Petrochemical Company was established in February 1999 with the aim of implementing the 7th Olefin Plant. With a production capacity of 1.1 million tons of polyethylene per year, it is one of the largest petrochemicals in olefin production worldwide. In this company, ethane recovered from natural gas is converted into olefinic materials, polymeric, and chemical products through various operations.

Amirkabir Petrochemical Company was established by the National Petrochemical Company to accelerate the executive activities of petrochemical industry development plans and to utilize domestic and foreign industries.

This company was established in 1998 on a 70-hectare land in sites 4 and 2 of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone and was commissioned in 2002 as the first centralized utility company in the country. With the increasing demand due to new projects in sites 2 and 3, the Fajr Petrochemical development plan was implemented in site 2.

Jam Petrochemical Company is one of the largest olefin production units in Iran and the world, considered part of the development plans of the National Petrochemical Company of Iran. It is worth noting that this company was established in 2000 in the Pars Special Economic Petrochemical Zone in Asaluyeh.
